Welcome to The Moments!

This 60 suite campus addition was opened in the Fall of 2021. This addition connects directly to The Cottage with an enclosed walkway and includes our signature Sensory Design. The community was designed with those living with dementia in mind. Larger suites, closets and beautiful home like bathrooms with stunning colors and cabinet space, an apartment sized refrigerator and larger closet with organizational system in place. As with The Cottage each suite has a 43” flat screen smart television and in suite climate control.

The design incorporates our belief of never having dead ends in the hallways. Each “end” of a hallway has a specifically designed feature for rest and relaxation. On the main floor you will find The Moments General store façade with front porch and rocking chairs as you wait for your turn in our “spa”. Off the main level dining area you will find an enclosed heated pergola that can be used late and early in the seasons. With a huge outdoor space at the ready exploration of nature and relaxing activities give our residents the most outdoor space in the Twin Cities.

On the second level we have a beautiful stocked library in Moments blue with seating areas to read, watch television or just relax as you wait for your hair appointment outside of our salon. Also, on the second floor your loved one will experience our train station with a replica dining car and monitors to feel as though they are on the train headed to their next destination. They will also have the chance to sit and wait for the next train to arrive in a fashionable and beautiful seating area with benches and street lamp. Also, in this neighborhood, as with all neighborhoods, you will have long hallways that continue in a walking track around the entire level.

We have two full commercial kitchens in this community to serve both levels and all of our residents, and hopefully their visitors soon, the delicious from scratch chef prepared meals daily.

Throughout the community you will find local photographers art on the walls from the Midwest and maybe a few golf courses as well.
